Football Frenzy Week 3 recap

WTAP SPORTS- Week 3 of the high school football season featured a pair of cross river rivalries.

The Williamstown Yellowjackets won the latest edition of the "Rumble on the River" with the Marietta Tigers. The Jackets prevailed 33-22 to improve to 2-1 on the season

The Fort Frye Cadets defeated the Waterford Wildcats 22-20 in their annual trans Muskingum River matchup. Fort Frye runs it's record to 3-0, while Waterfprd falls to 2-1

Parkersburg High picked up it's first win of the season on the road at Beckley. The Big Reds top Woodrow Wilson 28-7. Brenton Strange caught 2 touchdown passes in his season debut

Parkersburg South falls on the road at Athens 26-16

Parkersburg Catholic continued it's winning ways with a 36-21 victory over South Harrison. The Crusaders are 3-0

Warren falls onthe road at Point Pleasant 61-0

Roane prevails over St. Marys 28-17.
