BEVERLY, Ohio (WTAP)- A local football player is ready to shine at Capital University.
Fort Frye football standout Tyson Miller is heading to Capital University to join the Crusaders' defensive line.
Tyson held his signing ceremony on Monday with family, friends and coaches looking on.
He is expected to see plenty of action as a defensive end with the Crusaders.
Tyson has quite the resume, earning All- Pioneer Valley Conference, Ohio Valley Athletic Conference and district honors, along with an All-Ohio special mention in his time with the Cadets.
He has worked hard for this moment.
"I've always wanted to do it since I was little and I got the opportunity, so I took it," Miller said.
"At Fort Frye, we were always taught to never back down. They always pushed us, even if we were tired to keep going."
Tyson plans to major in environmental science with hopes of becoming a wildlife biologist.
