WHIPPLE, Ohio (WTAP) - A Washington County motocross training circuit is hosting a women's national champion for a training session this weekend.

Women's National Motocross Champion Ashley Fiolek will lead an all-women motocross training class at 10: 00 a.m. Saturday at The Club at Willowcreek in Whipple, Ohio.

Sandy and James Isard own the private motocross training and riding track, located at 7510 State Route 821 in Whipple, Ohio.

They say both men and women can excel in the sport of motocross, and they are excited to have a strong female champion come out to the track.

James Isard says,

"When you drive and race a car, which I've done a little of, the car does all the work, not on a dirt bike. You know your body is really put into play with the machine. All your senses are heightened. We have Ashley Fiolek coming out to teach a class. She's a five-time women's national champion, two-time gold medal x-rider,
finest woman motocross rider in the country. I hope it exposes more women to the sport of motocross."

After the training class, the track will be open to the public for riding from 4:00 p.m. to dusk, for a fee of $15 per-rider.
