A FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a
Flood Watch for portions of southeast Ohio and West Virginia,
including the following areas, in southeast Ohio, Athens,
Gallia, Jackson OH, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and
Washington. In West Virginia, Jackson WV, Mason, Pleasants,
Ritchie, Tyler, Wirt, and Wood.

* Through Sunday morning

* Rain will continue through the early afternoon hours, with
perhaps a lull thereafter. Rain overspreads the area again
tonight. Combined with what has already fallen, rainfall amounts
of 1.5 to 2 inches are expected by Sunday morning. Most of this
will occur as runoff, which will bring area creeks to bankfull
if not above tonight.

* Flooding of creeks, streams, low lying and poor drainage areas
will be possible. Some road closures are also possible. Symmes
Creek, Duck Creek, Raccoon Creek, Little Muskingum River, and
the Shade River are particularly vulnerable.

Saturday--Rain. Patchy fog before 11am. High near 55. Northeast wind around 7 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday Night--Rain likely before 7pm, then showers likely, mainly between 7pm and 3am. Cloudy, with a low around 44. Northeast wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Sunday-A chance of rain, mainly before 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
